It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work the same way but stay on your device and are not sent with each request. In this policy, "cookies" covers both.
Until you make a choice, our website sets no cookies. We store one item in your browser's local storage:
bh-cookie-consent: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, and when. It is strictly necessary to respect your choice, is kept for about six months before we ask again, and never leaves your device.
If you select Accept in our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Nothing loads if you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Once you accept, Google Analytics sets these cookies:
_ga: a random identifier that lets Google Analytics tell visits apart without knowing who you are. Kept for 13 months.
_ga_6PWSQWHQ1K: keeps track of your current visit, such as the pages you view in one session. Kept for 13 months.
We have turned off Google signals and advertising features, Google Analytics keeps the data it collects for 14 months, and we use it only to improve this website. If you change your mind, select "Cookie Settings" in the footer and choose Decline: analytics stops and we delete these cookies from your browser.
Declining has no effect on how the website works.
To deliver the website, your browser loads files from the providers below. Like any web server, they receive your IP address and basic browser information in order to send those files. Only Google Analytics sets cookies, and only after you accept:
Webflow: hosts the website and delivers its pages, images, and code (website-files.com and cloudfront.net).
Google Fonts: delivers some of the typefaces used on the site (fonts.googleapis.com).
Google Hosted Libraries: delivers the script that loads our fonts (ajax.googleapis.com).
Google Analytics: loads only after you select Accept, and sets the cookies described in Section 3 (googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com).
Cookie Settings: select "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline and do not show the banner.
Browser settings: you can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. If you clear local storage, we will simply ask for your choice again.
We will update this policy whenever the cookies or services we use change. The dates at the top show the most recent revision.
